MUSIC VIDEO

A music video conceptualized and directed by Julie Weber in response to Holly Munro’s song Open Ended.

The work evokes the wonky, uneasy, and weighted sensation, reflecting the experience of confronting difficult moments that, when avoided, inevitably resurface over time. Mirrors were used to convey both boundlessness and entrapment while enhancing a sense of surreality. The slow-moving visuals guide the viewer toward a transformative moment, marked by a shift in the camera’s perspective. The use of aerial shots and a wider aspect ratio provides a sense of relief, lifting Holly from a state of confinement. By spending time with discomfort and embracing it fully - even when it feels overwhelming - moments of enlightenment, growth, and connection can emerge.
